Electromagnetic Warfare Guardians Sharpen Tactical Edge with QLAA and GMT Systems

Mission Delta 3 Guardians sharpen their tactical edge on the Ground Multi-band Terminal (GMT) and Quad-band Large Aperture Antenna (QLAA) at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, July 27, 2026. These highly deployable systems provide the critical, multi-band SATCOM links that power joint operations worldwide. By running live electronic warfare scenarios on the GMT and QLAA, Guardians train to detect, identify, and defeat simulated adversary jamming in real-time. This realistic, contested-environment training ensures operators are combat-ready, without disrupting real-world communications. (U.S. Space Force photo by Dave Grim)
