A SpaceX Falcon 9 launched two communications satellites Aug. 11, 2024, for Space Norway’s Arctic Satellite Broadband Mission (ASBM). The rocket lifted off at 10:02 p.m. Eastern from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
