U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. David N. Miller, Jr., Commander of Space Operations Command, greets Dr. John Ballard, President of National Intelligence University (NIU) at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, Jan. 28. 2025. Miller and Ballard acknowledged that increased interoperability provide opportunities for Space organizations to access and develop new technologies, staying ahead of emerging threats. They discussed how NIU can enhance its integration with the Space Force's operational and strategic needs, particularly in intelligence analysis, emergency technology application and workplace development.
