Brigadier General Robert J. Schreiner

Brigadier General Robert J. Schreiner is the Commander, U.S. Space Forces Northern, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. U.S. Space Forces Northern plans, coordinates, synchronizes, and executes the employment of space effects across the full range of military operations, including security cooperation, in support of U.S. Northern Command.

Brig. Gen. Schreiner graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1998. He has commanded space operations units at the delta and squadron levels, commanded the National Reconnaissance Office’s Aerospace Data Facility-Colorado and served as the U.S. Air Forces Central Director of Space Forces. He has held a variety of space operations, acquisition management, and systems engineering positions within the Space Force, Air Force, Joint Staff, and the National Reconnaissance Office.

Prior to his current position, Brig. Gen. Schreiner served as Deputy Director for Operations, Operations Team One, National Joint Operations and Intelligence Center, Joint Staff, in the Pentagon, Arlington, Va.
