Brigadier General Robert J. Schreiner Brig. Gen. Robert J. Schreiner is the Commander of United States Space Forces–Northern-Strategic Component Field Command, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Brig. Gen. Schreiner is responsible for those segments in support of United States Northern Command and United States Strategic Command. His responsibilities include support to combatant commands of nuclear command, control, and communications, operations, as well as the monitoring, reporting, and coordination of global operations. Brig. Gen. Schreiner also leads efforts to advance and integrate space-based capabilities, supporting strategic deterrence, homeland defense, and the readiness of the nation’s critical assets in an increasingly contested and dynamic operational environment. Brig. Gen. Schreiner graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1998. He has commanded space operations units at the delta and squadron levels. He also commanded the National Reconnaissance Office's Aerospace Data Facility Colorado and served as the U.S. Air Forces Central Command Director of Space Forces. He has held a variety of space operations, acquisition management, and engineering positions within the Space Force, Air Force, and the National Reconnaissance Office Prior to his current position, Brig.
